Who is *Jae Tracie*?Just a little info on the next superstar!
Who is Jae Tracie?
*Jae Tracie* is a Los Angeles based SAG/AFTRA Actress, Singer, Writer, Model, and YouTube Celebrity with millions of views online, using her super funny and inspirational style through video and social media to empower people across the world to create and share True & Lasting Happiness in their own lives everyday!
Jae Tracie loves to share positive messages in an entertaining way, and at times involves her whole family. In 2003, she married a really hot Black Surfer Director guy (also from LA), Patrick Wesson. Five years later they started popping out babies! On March 28, 2008 - a genius son, Patrick Jeremiah Wesson. On May 7, 2010 - a sweet, but wild princess, Maileah (my-lee-ah) Sunshine Wesson. And sharing Daddy’s birthday exactly one week after Mommy’s, on August 22, 2011 – Little Miss Life-Of-The-Party, Tatyana Sky Wesson.
Their gorgeous kids love entertaining as well! These days, smart little ones know how to hit record and make their own videos when their parents aren’t looking, so of course, the Wesson pups started their own series on Jae’s YT channel, “Toddler Diaries”. Mommy did the editing, but the content was 100% written and performed by the munchkins. The whole family’s hilarious acting and improv talents are highly featured in Jae’s very popular YouTube/Facebook video, “I Should Be A Star”.
Jae was cast as the lead, playing a famous singer in the short film “How Can an Angel Take My Heart”, which is based off the novel written by Regina Knox. She was a lead soloist in the musical “Scrooge”, directed by John Peters. She also shared the stage as a choir singer directed by Rickey Minor behind Kelly Clarkson, Ruben Studdard, Fantasia Barrino, and Carrie Underwood on American Idol! In college, she sang soprano, and sometimes alto in the Gospel Choir under Betty Griffin Keller and Micah Stampley, both famous recording artists.
Jae sang in the soprano section on the 3rd album of the Los Angeles based gospel group Brent Jones & the TP Mobb. She performed live with the group for many years on television, and for audiences at various locations across the country. She also performed live at the prestigious Friars Club in Beverly Hills, and again in Beverly Hills for megastar Kanye West at a function for his foundation.
Jae Tracie is a member of New Dawn Christian Village in LA, and she used to serve on the Praise Team with famous musician, Paul Jackson, under producer and music director, Laythan Armor and Pastor Frank Wilson who was a famous Motown legend!
As a model, Jae has done a variety of print work ranging from makeup and hair to swimsuit to pregnancy, and has even done multiple runway shows, despite being a few inches short of the average runway model height. (Confidence makes you seem taller, ya know?!)
Jae Tracie has participated in short films, TV shows, commercials, musicals, live performances, studio sessions, print modeling, fashion modeling, event hosting, has been featured as a dancer on the popular television show Soul Train, and has even hosted her own radio show! There’s nothing she can’t do!
Her husband, Patrick has about 15 years Live and Produced Television Directing experience, and has also co-written and co-directed multiple short-films. Jae has over 150 videos on YouTube, her husband helped write and direct several – he even helped her shoot some he did not appear in, such as her infamous Gotye and Beyonce music video parodies.
Jae got the acting bug in elementary school after her first play. At 13 she started to develop her amazing singing talent and went through weekly Private Vocal Training throughout all four years of high school, and then further Vocal Technique Training in college. She was part of a girl group during these teenage and young adult years, and learned how to harmonize, write songs, and co-produce. Jae Tracie also became very involved in developing her natural acting talent by taking Acting and Theater courses. In addition, she took Entertainment Business, English, Writing, and Communication courses in college to expand her knowledge of the fundamentals. She attends an ongoing Improv class under Coach Mike Pointer.
Jae’s motto of #ShareTheHappyis helping to change people’s lives by motivating each viewer and online friend to become the best version of themselves! One of her quotes is, “Unhappy people wish for happiness. Happy people create it!” Her fans constantly come to her for advice and encouragement. Her comments are full of statements such as, “Someone, please get this girl her own TV show! The world needs more of this kind of family-friendly, uplifting entertainment!” She gets fan mail literally on a daily basis letting her know she’s not only entertaining people and making them laugh, she’s also spurring many of her viewers to do things like come out of depression, pursue their dreams, and even deepen their own spiritual connection! Jae Tracie has a goal of sharing her gifts with the world on an even larger scale by creating and starring in her own TV show!
